Georgia Ruth Lewis

Georgia Ruth Lewis, 81, of West Terre Haute, passed away on November 6, 2024, at The Gibson Center Hospice Unit. Georgia was born in West Terre Haute on September 1, 1943, the daughter of Chester and Myrtle (Wiggins) Lewis. She enjoyed collecting “whatnots” and stuffed animals. She was preceded in death by her parents. Services will be held 7:00 p.m. Monday, November 11, 2024, at Mattox-Wood Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until time of service on Monday. A private graveside service at Bethesda Cemetery in West Terre Haute will take place at a later date. She will be laid to rest by her parents.
