History

The Mattox family began providing funeral ceremonies for northern Vigo County families in the Fontanet community. Outgrowing the existing facilities, Mattox-Wood Funeral Home was built in North Terre Haute. In an effort to provide the Wabash Valley community with professional cremation care, a crematory was added. We continue to innovate and offer more ways to serve our families.
