Christine Marie Roy

Christine Marie Roy, 59, of Terre Haute, passed away on March 31, 2019 at Regional Hospital. She was born on September 28,1959 in Fort Fairfield, Maine. Christine worked as a medical transcriptionist for Union Hospital. She was Past President of Terre Haute Newcomers and Friends. She loved her gardening, loved to travel, and loved the ocean. Most of all, she cherished the time spent with her family, her grandchildren, and the in the company of her friends. She is survived by her best friend and sweetheart, Robert Lance; her children, Amy Hutson and husband Bruce, and Erik Hamilton and wife Hannah; a brother Steve Lavey; uncle, Lynn Blackmore; and aunts, Deloris Blackmore and Betty Hackworth; her two grandchildren, Mason and Cora Hutson. She is also survived by many friends who loved her dearly. A Celebration of Life will be held at 8 p.m. on Wednesday, April 3 at Mattox-Wood Funeral Home with Pastor Dennis Ticen officiating.
