Linda M. Stainbrook

Linda Marie McNew Stainbrook, 71, of Columbus, died at 4:10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 10, 2016, at Willow Crossing Health Care Center. Linda is survived by her husband, Richard “Dick” Stainbrook of Columbus; sons, Ronnie Wayne (Denise) McNew of Pekin, Indiana, Danny Ray McNew of Columbus and Lonnie Eugene (Lori) McNew of Pekin; brothers, Michael (Jill) Newlin of Columbus and Lester (Samantha) McNew of Clarksville; sister, Frankie (Joe) Beswick of New Albany; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; three step-children; five step-grandchildren; and one step-great-grandchild. The funeral service for Linda will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Myers‐Reed Chapel on 25th Street with Dr. William Bailey officiating. Burial will follow in Garland Brook Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and one hour prior to the service Wednesday. Memorials for Linda may be directed to Bartholomew County Humane Society.
