Ann Marie Kramer

Ann Marie Henderson Kramer, 70, passed away Monday, December 12, 2016 after a courageous battle with cancer.
Ms. Kramer was born on November 7, 1946, in Columbus, IN, the daughter of Thomas R. and D. Eloise Henderson. She graduated from West Lafayette High School, West Lafayette, IN in 1965. Ms. Kramer studied nursing at Ball State University, Muncie, IN and IUPUI, Indianapolis, IN. She married in 1968 and had her only child, Jennifer, in 1969. After moving to Texas as a single mother in 1978, she worked in the medical field for over 18 years.
Ms. Kramer was kind and generous and possessed a keen sense of humor and quick wit that entertained those around her. She most recently resided in Katy, TX and was a member of Grace Presbyterian Church. She loved to garden, travel and actively participated in the lives of her three grandchildren.
Ms. Kramer was predeceased by her parents and is survived by her sister, Cathy Henderson of Houston, her daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and Wesley Major, her grandchildren Hayden, Grayson and Carrington Major of Katy, her grand-dog, Bexar, as well as many loving family and friends.
There will be a funeral service on Friday December 30, 2016 at Noon in Myers-Reed Chapel on 25th St. with Rev. Steve Russell officiating. Entombment will follow in Garland Brook Mausoleum. Friends may call from 10:00 until service time.
Memorials in her name may be made to St. Jude’s Research Hospital, Memphis, TN, Best Friends Animal Society, Kanab, UT or St. Labre Indian School, Ashland, MT. Online condolences may be sent the the family at www.myers-reed.com.
