Ralph Edward Robins

Ralph E. (Robbie) Robins, 79, of Charles City Co. went to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 12, 2015. He retired from Old Dominion Iron and Steel after 40 years of service, was a member of Four Mile Creek Baptist Church and served in the U.S. Army. Robbie was a graduate of Highland Springs High School, raised Bobwhite Quail for over 40 years, loved hunting, fishing, trapping, and his most recent love, Wildlife sketching. He is preceded in death by his parents, Elva and Rufus Robins; brothers, Paul Wayne and Clarence Lee Robins; and longtime friend, Charlie Purks. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Fannie Jones Robins; children, Sharyn Walker (Mike), Carole Hoffman Bartlett (Todd), and Ralph E. (Eddie) Robins II; grandchildren, Alex and Jordan Hoffman; great-granddaughter, Makenzie Barksdale; and special friend Luke Oliver. Due to Robbie’s love of fellowship and good food, the family invites everyone to lunch starting at 11:30 at Four Mile Creek Baptist Church: 2950 New Market Rd, Richmond, VA 23231 on Sunday, December 20, 2015. A celebration of Robbie’s life will follow at 1pm.
