Our historic Richmond funeral home

Front exterior building at Nelsen Richmond Nelsen Funeral Home serves families across the Richmond area in a tradition dating to 1892. Our 4th location opened in 1986 on Laburnum Avenue, with a large addition in 1990 to accommodate our growing neighborhood. Our reception center next door accommodates catered receptions, gatherings and other life celebration events to make each memorial tribute as unique as the individual we celebrate.
