Jeter, Norboune Pierce Jr., On Tuesday, October 18, 2016, Sunny Jeter passed away of complications from surgery. He was born on September 29, 1944 to Norbourne P. Jeter Sr., and Hazel Dudley Jeter Blackwood, now deceased. He is also predeceased by his brother, Gordon A. Jeter; and sisters, M. Alice Powell and Audrey M. Bordonie. He is survived by his loving wife, Sharon W. Jeter; his two daughters Diane M. Price (Robert), and Jami Y. Jeter, and son, Daniel P. Jeter (Artesia), three granddaughters, Danielle L. Price, Daesia K. Coughlan, and Danica E. Jeter; siblings, Ann J. Hobson (Russell), Raymond E. Jeter (Kathy), Beverly L. Jeter, Ronald E. Lushbaugh (Freda), and Kenneth W. Lushbaugh, and many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Sunny loved auto racing. You could always ask him the latest about Nascar; and he used to love going dirt track racing with his buddies, Johnny, Louie, Wolf, Gene, and many others. With a smile that could light up a room, he loved telling his jokes and making people laugh. He worked many years in the computer electronics industry, NCR, GE, AT&T and retired from Lucent Technologies. His remains rest at Nelsen Funeral Home Laburnum, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave where family and friends will gather from 2-4pm and 6-8pm Friday, October 21, 2016. A celebration of Sunny’s life will be held on Saturday, October 22, 2016 at 10am.
