Glennis C. Bailey

Glennis C. Bailey, 77, of Charles City, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 12, 2022. She was preceded in death by her husband, Garnie A. Bailey. Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Elizabeth Bailey Schmidt (Knox), and grandson, Justin A. Lee. Glennis had a strong faith in the Lord and enjoyed watching spiritual TV. She also found great joy in gardening and tending to her yard as she had quite the green thumb. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 24, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., Richmond, Va. 23231. A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, May 25, at 1 p.m. in Washington Memorial Park, 6217 Memorial Dr., Sandston, Va. 23150.
