George W. Spiggle Jr.

George W. Spiggle, Jr., 86, of Richmond, passed away on July 10, 2024. He served in the Army National Guard and was a retired employee from Philip Morris after 30 years of employment. He was preceded in death by his parents, George W. and Estelle Spiggle and a brother, Leslie Spiggle. He is survived by his wife, Mary; sons, Tommy and Richard; grandchildren, David and Will; great-grandchildren, Dylan, Logan and Mason; and a brother, Wayne. The family will receive friends Tuesday, July 16, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., Richmond, VA 23231. A graveside service will be held Wednesday, July 17, at 11 a.m. at Washington Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
