Carol Lee Terry

It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, Carol Lee Terry, 83, of Glen Allen, who went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 27, 2023. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Vander Terry; mother, Jean North; sister, Anna Marsh. Carol was an avid reader, loved gardening and birdwatching, she was generous, kindhearted to all she met, hardworking, of tender heart and had a great sense of humor. Above all, she loved spending time with her grandchildren and pets. She is survived by her son, Donald Nichols (Marie); daughters, Ann Mraz, Vanessa Marshall (Wayne), Yvonne Terry – Kidney, Veronica Gaballah (Bill); grandchildren, Michelle Delatte, Robert Nichols (Cyndi), Jennifer Doane, Megan Delatte, Madeline Jordan (Tyler), Daniel Kidney, Sophia Unson, Clayton Marshall, Mary – Katherine Kidney, Adam Gaballah, Sophie Gaballah, Emily Gaballah; 10 great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Sarah and Sandra; 2 brothers, Nicholas and Ronnie; and a very large extended family. A graveside service of remembrance will be held on Tuesday, July 11th at 11:00am. Washington Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests making a donation in her name to your favorite charity. Veronica’s brother and sisters would like to thank her for tirelessly caring for our mother.
