Janice Arlene Snipes

Janice Arlene Snipes, age 78, of Fredericksburg, VA passed away Thursday, February 1, 2024 at the Fredericksburg Assisted Living, Fredericksburg, Virginia. She was born on October 21, 1945 in Frederick, Maryland, the daughter of the late Edward N. and Mildred L. (Mullinix) Rimbey. She worked in insurance for GEICO and Hartford. Janice was a lover of life. She enjoyed playing bingo and poker, spending time with friends and taking care of others. Her son, Michael Scott Brown; brother, Jerry Rimbey, Sr. and sister-in-law Savanna Rimbey preceded her in death. Survivors include her sister, Carole Jean Eaves (Roy) of Mt Airy, MD; four nephews, Robert Eaves (Ann) of Easley, SC, David Eaves (Joanna) of Camden, SC, Jerry Rimbey, Jr (Wendy) of Mt Airy, MD, Mark Rimbey (Kelly) of Mt Airy, MD and 7 great nieces and nephews as well as extended family Tami and Dale Smith of Stafford, VA. The family will receive friends from 6:00-7:00pm Monday, February 12, 2024 at Mullins & Thompson Funeral Service, 1621 Emancipation Highway, Fredericksburg, VA where a Celebration of Life will be held at 7:00pm with Rev.
