Thomas C. Forbes, Sr.

Thomas C. Forbes, Sr., 80, of Fort Wayne passed away on Sunday, January 10, 2021. He was born on May 2, 1940 in Kendallville, Indiana, the son of the late Max and Helen (Ackerman) Forbes. He served in the U.S Air Force. He retired from the Air National Guard with the rank of Master Sergeant in 1990. Surviving family include his children, Thomas C. Forbes, Jr., Carol Reed, Alice Witt, and Kyra Young; 11 grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Besides his parents, he was preceded in passing by his wife, Patricia Forbes. Mass of Christian burial will be 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 15, 2020 at St. Joseph Hessen Cassel Catholic Church, 11337 US-27, Fort Wayne with visitation one hour prior. Burial will be in Orange Cemetery, rural Rome City, Indiana at 2:30 p.m. Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Home for Funerals, Fort Wayne are handling arrangements.
