M. Joan Patton

M. Joan Patton, 94, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Friday, March 24, 2023. Born in Fort Wayne, Indiana on March 24, 1929. A daughter of the late Walter and Mary (Plumley) Leamon. Joan enjoyed taking walks, visiting with friends, playing card games, especially rook and the Chicago Cubs. She is survived by her children, Tim (Diana) Patton, Mark (Pam) Patton and Becky (John) Beranek; eleven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; brother, Joe (Sandy) Leamon; sisters-in-law, Fern Leamon, Dawn Leamon and Helen Patton; and brothers-in-law, Harold Jewett and Loren Powers. A funeral service for Joan will be held at 1:30pm on Tuesday, March 28, 2023 at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Home for Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46809. Burial at Prairie Grove Cemetery. Contributions in Joan's memory may be made to Lutheran Life Villages Chapel.
