Mrs. Eleanor Smith Lunz

Eleanor E. Lunz, 87, of Yoder, passed away April 3, 2013. She was born on September 4, 1925 in Monroeville. She worked alongside her husband, the late Herbert Lunz, farming. She was a member of St. Therese Catholic Church. Surviving family include her daughters, Mildred “Millie” (Larry) Quackenbush of Yoder, Julie (Ron) Chaney of Roanoke; grandchildren, Chris (Klarisa) Quackenbush, Melissa (Tyler) Romine, Jenna (Brent) Bates, Garet Ribel; great grandchildren, Beau and Burk Bates, Maryn Romine. She was preceded in passing by her parents, Jay W. and Lida (O'Brien) Smith. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 am on Saturday, April 6, 2013 at St. Therese Catholic Church, 2304 Lower Huntington Road, Fort Wayne with visitation half an hour prior. Visitation will also be from 2-8 pm on Friday, April 5, 2013 at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Home for Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, Fort Wayne. Memorials may be made to The Heritage of Huntington or Masses. Burial will be in Oak Lawn Cemetery.
