Janet Clara Forgrave

Janet Forgrave, 74, of Williamsburg, passed away on Wednesday, January 24, 2018. Janet spent many years as a nurse and for the past 15 years, as a volunteer for Colonial Williamsburg. Janet was an active member of Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church in Norge. Janet was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Forgrave. After Don’s passing in 2012, life was not the same for her. They had enjoyed 28 years of marriage and 42 cruises together. Janet is survived by her children, Andy (Kim) Self, Laura Roze, Bruce (Angela) Forgrave, Chris (Brenda) Forgrave, James Forgrave and Sharon (Mike) Fox; sister, Paula (David) Peaper; and two wonderful friends, Lynn Edwards and Carol Turner. Friends are invited to join her family on Saturday, February 3rd for a viewing to be held at 2:00 pm at Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church, 7479 Richmond Road, Williamsburg Virginia. The service will begin at 3:00 pm with the interment following in the church graveyard. Immediately after the interment, there will be a reception in the Parish Hall. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Janet’s memory to Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church (www.oslcnorge.org) or to a charity of your choice.
