Dov Troup
January 22, 1962 – June 1, 2022

Dov Troup of Williamsburg, VA passed away Wednesday, June 1, 2022.
He is preceded in death by parents, David and Dorrine Troup; brothers, David and Donald Troup; and mother and father in-laws, Charles and Dolores Mahone.
He proudly served his country for 20 years in the U.S. Navy, and was previously a production manager at the Naval Weapons Station in Yorktown, VA.
He participated in raising money for The Fallen Heroes organization, Wounded Warriors Project and Stand Up for Cancer, and was the Boy Scout Leader for Troop 300, and enjoyed golfing. Dov was an avid runner, participating in a variety of races ranging from 5ks to Ultra races. He also loved to work on projects such as building welcome signs, building a wooden bar for his daughter’s wedding, or refurbishing old antiques.
Survivors include his wife, Laura; sons, Christopher Troup (Sara) and Eric Schalk (Heather); daughter, Kelly Troup (Adam); grandchildren, Griffin, Airik, Avery, Harley and Katelyn; brother, Doug Troup; sister, Darlynda Martin; brother-in-laws, Mark Mahone and Scott Mahone (Kathy); sister-in-law, Linda O’Hop (Joe); and many nieces and nephews.
A service will take place Wednesday, June 15, 2022 at The Maine of Williamsburg, 2580 John Tyler Highway, Williamsburg, Va 23188 from 2-4pm.
The family requests in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Dov’s name may be made to any of the following charities: Wounded Warrior Project (www.woundedwarriorproject.org), The Fallen Heroes (www.thefallenheroes.org), or Stand Up to Cancer (www.standuptocancer.org), or to a charity of your choice.
