Robert Lester Campbell

Robert Lester Campbell, 53, of Verona, passed away on Thursday July 7, 2022 at Augusta Health. Mr. Campbell was born on May 24, 1969 in Augusta County, and was a son of the late Lester Vernon Campbell and surviving Nancy Ellen (Patterson) Campbell. Robert was very talented using his hands. He enjoyed working on cars and was mechanically inclined. Mr. Campbell was an avid hunter. His greatest enjoyment came from spending time with his family. On August 4, 1990 he married the former Rebecca Ann Edmonds, who survives. In addition to his wife, Mr. Campbell is survived by his children, Kevin Campbell of Verona, Heather Campbell of Staunton; siblings, Barbara Campbell-Decker of Waynesboro, Thomas Campbell and wife Heidi of Staunton, Teresa Reese of Stuarts Draft, and Tim Campbell and wife Katie of Waynesboro. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday July 13, 2022 at Oaklawn Mausoleum and Memory Gardens with Pastor Shawna Hiner officiating. There will be no formal visitation at the funeral home.
