Nancy Louise (Flesher) Pleasants, 81, of Waynesboro passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 8, 2021 at her home.
Born October 3, 1939 in Moyers, WV, she was the daughter of the late Charles A. and Ethal (McCray) Flesher.
As an avid swimmer, Nancy enjoyed swimming at the Waynesboro YMCA where she was part of the water aerobics swim group and also enjoyed Silver Sneaker classes. She greatly enjoyed spending time with her family, going fishing, telling stories, and listening to country music especially, Dolly Parton.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee Pleasants, Sr.; three sisters, Mary C. Fitzgerald, Beulah Juanita Painter, and Betty Lucas; and two brothers, William Ona Flesher and Russell Flesher.
Survivors include her two sons, Robert Lee Pleasants, Jr. (Melissa Rae Parker) of Richmond and John C. Pleasants (Andrew Neal) of Arlington, VA; brother, Roger Flesher (Nellie Flesher) of Lyndhurst; special friend and caregiver, Rosemarie Guertler of Waynesboro; one soon to be granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews.
Following cremation, there will be no formal services.
