Herman Ray Coffey, 67, of Afton, passed away on Saturday, April 10, 2021 at the Harrisonburg Health and Rehabilitation Center.
He was born January 24, 1954, a son of the late Ira Givens and Edna Elizabeth (Coffey) Coffey.
Herman loved being outdoors, fishing and spending time with his family at the lake. He enjoyed shooting pool and especially loved playing with his grandbabies.
Survivors include his lifelong companion, Elizabeth Doris Eubanks; sons, Josh Coffey of Waynesboro and Travis Eubanks of Afton; sister, Joyce Berry of Lyndhurst; three grandchildren, Bentley Coffey, Destiny Coffey and Veronica John.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, April 16, 2021 at Mountain Top Christian Church Cemetery with Pastor Billy Coffey officiating. Active pallbearers will be Michael Groah, Calvin Givens, John Fields, Montana Madison, Corey Myers and Dustin Shull.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 15, 2021 at the Waynesboro Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes.
