Byron Douglas “Doug” Terry, 44, of Waynesboro, passed away on Thursday January 20, 2022 at his residence.
Mr. Terry was born on March 19, 1977 in Waynesboro. He formerly worked for WayneTex and Harris Teeter. He enjoyed his car club and collecting movie memorabilia. Doug was an avid fan of Horror Movies and a big fan of Ed Gein and Godzilla. He will always be remembered for being one of a kind.
Doug is survived by his parents, Allen and Deborah Saum; his children, Samantha Terry of Syracuse, NY, Damien Terry of Verona, Kemper McCauley, Lucas McCauley, both of Gordonsville, Aiden Terry of Charlottesville; brother Christopher Saum and wife Julie, and their children, Camryn and Nicholas; Uncle and Aunt, Bane and Gin Puckett; Aunt and Uncle, Rhonda Puckett and Steve Mays; and cousins, Mitch, Todd, and Michelle.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening, January 25, 2022 from 6 until 8 PM at the Waynesboro Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests all memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, 1445 E, Rio Rd E Suite 104, Charlottesville, VA 22901.
