Ronald Allen Swarts

Virginia Beach - Ronald Allen Swarts, 56, killed in a traffic accident on February 6, 2014. Born on August 5, 1957 in Alliance, Ohio, he was a graduate of Alliance High School Class of 1976, and he entered the Navy that same year. When he left the Navy in 1980, the Norfolk/Virginia Beach area became his home. Ronald was employed by T.A. Sheets Mechanical as their Lead Driver. Ronald was preceded in death by his parents and also one brother, Bill, in 2001. He is survived by his long-time companion, Patricia Fraembs, and by siblings Jeffrey, and Alice Swarts,and Wanda (Tim) Cameron, all of Alliance, OH; nieces Dana Cameron of Canton, OH and Stephanie (Chris) McNelis of Austin, TX; nephews Ian (Holly) Cameron of Twinsburg, OH and Dylan P'simer of Alliance, OH. Ronald loved photography, music and his musical instruments. His visitation will be on Saturday, February 22, at 1:00-2:00 pm. Following will be a Funeral service at Rosewood-Kellum Funeral Home in Virginia Beach. Cremation will take place afterward. Ron's Ohio family will not be able to attend the service. They have chosen to remember their brother as they last saw him. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Cancer Society or St.Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
