Joseph Timothy Rhodes

Joseph Timothy Rhodes, age 62, of Chesapeake, Virginia passed away on Saturday, September 10, 2022. Joseph was born February 1, 1960 in Virginia Beach. He was preceded in death by his father William Rhodes, Sr. Joey graduated from First Colonial High School in 1978. He was a land developer with Garrett Johnson INC until his retirement in February 2020. He enjoyed fishing and repairing lawnmowers and auto mechanic repairs for family and friends. Survivors include his mother Mary Rhodes Bell; his fiancée Rebecca Lynn Mottram, children Joseph Rhodes, Jr., Jason Rhodes, Austin Jones and daughter Crystal Mottram Wright; grandchildren Larissa Almendras, Londynn Almendras, Lillian Jones; siblings Tony Rhodes, Debra Talbert and William "Billy" Rhodes, Jr. The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 17, 2022 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Rosewood Kellum Funeral Home.
