Joseph Patrick Barile

Joseph Patrick Barile, 69, passed away peacefully at his residence on November 8, 2020. By his side was his loving wife, Denise Barile (Bianco) of 37 years. He was born on April 27, 1951 in Astoria, New York and is the son of the late Joseph & Theresa Barile. He is also predeceased by his sister, Veronica Barile. He is survived by his wife Denise; his half-sister Ann Wallbridge and her husband Gerald from London, England; and brother-in-law Charles Bianco and his wife Rose of Fayette, Alabama as well as his many nieces and nephews in New Jersey, New York and London, England. He is also survived by his Aunt Flo, Uncle Pat & Aunt Rosanna, Aunt Anna, & Uncle Steven; as well as his many cousins in Virginia, New York, Maryland and West Virginia. Before moving to Virginia in 1991, Joseph was a Captain with the NYC Department of Corrections where he retired with 22 years of service. He will be remembered for his good sense of humor and kindness to his family and friends. Joseph will be greatly missed!
