Larry M Vinardi

WEST TERRE HAUTE — Larry Vinardi, 72, of West Terre Haute, passed away Wednesday, March 18, 2015, at Springhill Village. He was born Aug. 9, 1942, in Shirkieville, to Nick and Susie (Sekerak) Vinardi. Larry was a 1961 graduate of Fayette High School, and worked at Quaker Maid, Doxsee Foods and the Vigo County School Corporation. He attended the St. Mary’s Village Church, and was a member of the New Goshen Lions Club. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a sister, Carole Marion. Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Judy Conour Vinardi, whom he married Sept. 16, 1972; three sons, Kevin (Michelle) Vinardi of Terre Haute, Keith Vinardi and his fiancé, Sarah LaRoche of Putnamville, Kyle Vinardi of Shirkieville; two daughters, Kristen (Chad) York of New Goshen, Kara (Jason) Leturgez of West Terre Haute; brother, Nick (Robin) Vinardi of New Goshen; seven grandchildren, Kevin Vinardi Jr., Koti York, Ethan Vinardi, Emma Leturgez, Marshal Vinardi, Elizabeth Vinardi, Hayle Leturgez; special friend Jack Flowers; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Services for Larry will be 1 p.m. Saturday, March 21, at Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, with Fr. Matthew Malek OFM CONV officiating. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the time of services. Burial will take place at Roselawn Cemetery. The family would like to thank Springhill Village and their staff for the wonderful care that was provided these past two years.
