Gregory Norman Johnson, 67, of Brazil, Indiana, passed away on October 8, 2020 at his residence with his family by his side. He was born on November 28, 1952, in Terre Haute, Indiana, to James Robert Johnson and Betty Jane (Buzan) Johnson.
Gregory served his country for four years in The United States Air Force. Shortly after his service, he began working for the Federal Aviation Administration at Hulman Field. He retired as a Radar Technician after working there for many years.
He is survived by his son, Clinton Johnson (Lynn Stehle); sisters, Jamie Johnson-Page (Michael), Trudy Rupska (James), and Barbara Eichhorst (Scott); along with one niece and four nephews.
In his free time, Gregory loved to do wood working. Making model ships was one of his favorite hobbies. He was known for being very detail-oriented and an overall handy man. Gregory enjoyed spending his time in the outdoors. He was a member of the Brazil American Legion Post 2 and was an avid Boy Scout until young adulthood.
Gregory was preceded in death by his parents.
Greg's son and Greg's sisters extended a special thank you to Lynn Stehle for taking care of Gregory in his time of need and also to The Hospice of the Wabash Valley for their guidance and support.
Visitation will be held at Roselawn Funeral Home on Tuesday, October 13, 2020 from 12pm to 1pm; funeral service to follow at 1pm. Roselawn Funeral Home was entrusted with the arrangements. Online condolences can be made at www.roselawnfuneralhome.com.
