Danielle Geraldine Gossett, 80, of Terre Haute, passed away on Monday, November 18, 2019 at Springhill Village. She was born on June 6, 1939, in France to Joseph and Yolande (Intins) Peloso.
Danielle is survived by her children: Linda Swick of Terre Haute; Wayne Swick of San Antonio, TX; Angela Roach and husband David of Terre Haute; and Glen Gossett, Jr. of Lexington, KY; grandchildren, Jeremy BeDell, Dustin BeDell, Noah Ice, Preston Swick, Joshua Roach, and Nolan Roach; great-grandchildren, Ava and Gavin BeDell; niece, Dominique Magnani; and nephews, Jean Marc Thenu, Patric Thenu, and Herve Thenu, and several other family members in France.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Glen Gossett, Sr.; sister, Hugette Thenu; and brothers Serge and Daniel Peloso.
Danielle was born and raised in Lorraine, France. After moving to the United States she became an American citizen through Indiana University. She lived for many years in Oaktown where she attended Mariah Creek Methodist Church. She always had a deep love for the Lord and continued to attend church services at Springhill Village, even as her health began to decline. Danielle enjoyed playing bingo, listening to classical music, doing arts and crafts, and just being around people. She was a Kind, gentle, and loving mother. Danielle was the true definition of grace and unconditional love. She radiated joy when she was with her family. She will be truly missed.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, November 22 in Roselawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Diabetes Association. Roselawn Funeral Home was entrusted with the arrangements.
