Christina Kay Shelton, 67, of Terre Haute, passed away on Friday, May 4, 2018, at Regional Hospital, with her daughters by her side. She was born on August 1, 1950, in Terre Haute, to Ralph W. and Kathryn E. (Hall) Austin.
Christina is survived by her daughters: Amy Rapp and husband Dan of Rockville and Jennifer Mock and husband Randy of Clinton; grandchildren, Katie McMurty and husband Andrew of Montezuma, Kristina Dume and husband Emanuel of Rockville, Tyler Rapp and Trevor Rapp both of Rockville, and Nathan Mock of Clinton. She is also survived by great-grandchildren: Cambree, Taryn, Joseph, Madalynn, Korben, and Nora. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Christina worked for many years at Pillsbury. She then trained to be an EMT and Phlebotomist. She worked at various doctor’s offices around the Wabash Valley. Most recently, she worked at the Indiana Community Blood Center. Christina loved her dogs and she would gladly care for any stray that she came across. She had a kind heart and will be truly missed.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 10 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home. Services will be held at 7 p.m. on Thursday, at the funeral home with Pastor Larry Lilly officiating. Christina will be laid to rest at a later date in Roselawn Memorial Park. Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.roselawnfuneralhome.net
