Virginia "Ginny" Gail Brassart
March 2, 1941 – November 5, 2024

Ginny has received her wings and went to walk with the angels. She passed away peacefully on November 5, 2024.
Ginny was born in Royal Oak, Va. She worked at the FBI Academy in Quantico for more than 22 years until she retired in 2008. Ginny’s greatest joy was spending time with her great-grandchildren. Ginny will be remembered for her love of family and unwavering support for those she loved. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness and empathetic generosity. She will live on in the hearts of her family and friends, who will cherish their memories of her as a wonderful & compassionate individual.
Ginny was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and a friend and is survived by her devoted husband, Ronald Brassart; her son; Roy Hicks; her step-son, David Brassart (Liz); her step-daughter, Barbie Lee (Dave); her grandchildren, Daniel Mccarthy (Morla), Brittany Brassart (Val), Victoria Gulledge (Adam), Candice Gulledge (Mikey), Bridey Mcnutt (Dakota) and Ashlee Brassart (Darien), Ryan Ritchie; and numerous great grandchildren.
Ginny leaves behind her brother, Charlie Buck Stanfield and her sisters, Mary Albright,
Sarah Maxwell, Ebbie Mathews (Terry), Cookie Wallace (Wally), Diane Parker and numerous nieces & nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie & Anna Stanfield, her beloved son, Anthony “Tony” Hicks, her brothers, Freddie Stanfield and Tommy Stanfield; and her brother-in-laws, Ray Parker, Duckie Albright, Kenny Maxwell.
A visitation for Virginia will be held Thursday, November 14, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Mullins & Thompson Funeral Service, 186 Shelton Shop Rd, Stafford, Virginia 22554. Following the visitation will be a graveside service at Stafford Memorial Park, 154 Shelton Shop Road, Stafford, Virginia.
