Barbara Ann Payne
January 14, 1938 – July 3, 2013

Barbara Ann Payne, 75, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, July 3, 2013, at her home in Spotsylvania.
Mrs. Payne spent 33 years overseas as a Department of Defense teacher and artist. She was fondly remembered by her students as an English teacher with a “unique style”, who inspired them to become the best they could be, and made a lasting impression on their lives in so many ways. She also enjoyed traveling, painting, writing and music.
Survivors include her children, Kevin Payne, Kendra Morgan and her husband Mike, and Keli Will and her husband Jeff; grandchildren, Sean Morgan, Lauren Morgan, Alex Will, Mitchell Will, and Megan Will.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth L. Payne.
A service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 13 at Mullins and & Thompson Funeral Service, Stafford Chapel. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The American Heart Association.
