Atlas Leland Kimmel

Atlas Leland Kimmel passed peacefully in the arms of his loving parents and returned home to our Lord on January 12th, 2024. Atlas Leland was born on January 4th, 2024 at only 23 weeks gestation and was cared for by the amazing NICU staff at Mary Washington Hospital. During his 8 short days here on Earth he touched many lives and was loved deeply by family and friends. His life was a brief gift to us and a reminder to cherish every little moment. His memory will live on forever in our hearts. Atlas Leland is the son of Forest and Sarah Kimmel. His paternal grandparents are Todd Kimmel and Jackie Russell; and maternal grandparents, Kevin and Daniela Hudie. In lieu of flowers we would be honored to have you donate to March of Dimes at https://www.marchofdimes.org in support of their research and programs focused on ending preterm birth and preventable infant and maternal health risks as well as death. A memorial service in honor of Atlas Leland Kimmel will be held at the United States Marine Memorial Chapel on Saturday, February 17th from 1-2pm.
