Obituary of To Dam, also known as, Le Quoc Huy
In Loving Memory Of To Dam, also known as, Le Quoc Huy To Dam, also known as Le Quoc Huy, age 85, of Glen Allen, Virginia, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on Friday, March 29, 2024. In loving memory of To Dam, also known as Le Quoc Huy, a dutiful husband, a loving father, a doting grandfather, and a compassionate friend. He was an intelligent person and an outstanding mechanical engineer. He was a medic in the South Vietnamese Army, serving alongside the U.S. during the Vietnam War. He provided for and cared for numerous people including his wife, parents, children, grandchildren, and his brother’s family. Today we celebrate his well-lived and fulfilling life, cherished and loved by those surrounding him. His presence always brought warmth and generosity to anyone who was honored to meet him. He will live on in the memories that he has left behind. He enjoyed playing cards with family, traveling, and was always alongside his wife. He loved food, and his favorite restaurant was Pho Tay Do. He would never say no to an invitation, regardless of whether he was hungry or full. He always showed great affection and spoiled his grandchildren, as making them happy put a smile on his face. He constantly wanted to share his love for food with them; he was never content unless they were always fed. The source of his happiness came from seeing his children and grandchildren indulging in his hand-made Cantonese wontons, egg noodles, and soup. He brought unconditional love, laughter, and full bellies to their lives. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Anh Trinh; four children, Gabo, Gaman, Gatuyen, and Gamoon; two son-in-laws, Adam and Victor; two daughter-in-laws, Julie and Tuyet; eight grandchildren, Winsen, Allie, Kayla, Maya, Andrew, Angelina, Alexandra, and Aylin; and a granddaughter-in-law, Mai. He cared deeply about children and always wanted to help those in need.
