Monica Mardel Hutson

HUTSON, Monica M., 44, went home to be with the Lord on March 12, 2017. She was born in Williamsburg, Va. on January 4, 1973. She was currently living in Richmond with her companion, Jacob. She was an R.N. at Bon Secours, but was currently working, alongside her family dogs, Hope and Marley, in the family business. She was predeceased by her brother, John "Matt" Hutson. She is survived by her mother, Debbie Jenkins Gibson of Rockville, Va.; her father, John M. Hutson of Mathews, Va. but currently living in Buxton, N.C.; her son, Landon Nixon, stationed in La. with the Army and his wife, Taylor; along with many aunts, uncles and cousins. The family will receive friends at Woody Funeral Home, Parham Chapel on Sunday March 19, 2017, from 2:30 to 4 p.m. A service will follow in the chapel at 4 p.m. Interment will be private.
