Martha Cheyne Wagner

Martha Cheyne Wagner, 67, of Henrico, went home to heaven on December 15, 2022, finally ending her courageous battle with progressive supranuclear palsy. Preceded in death by her parents, John and Marie Cheyne; and her brother, Steven; she leaves behind her loving husband and best friend, Charles "Fritz" Wagner; children, Aaron (Nevada), Tara and Nicole; grandchildren, Gavin, Cassidy, Ella, Logan, Keagan, Eric and Kaya; brother, David Cheyne (Penney); sisters, Rebecca Threatt (Gary) and Beth Kim; invaluable and faithful friend, Donna Miles; along with a host of nieces, nephews and friends. She was an employee at Hauni Richmond for over 30 years, where she met her husband. Martha humbly and happily lived her life serving God. She was a longtime member of New Bridge Baptist Church. She founded HIS - a Christian-based equine therapy clinic and went on numerous mission trips. Martha was an avid and talented crafter and she loved being surrounded by her family, who will cherish their memories and rejoice in the fact that they will see her again. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, January 14, 2023 at New Bridge Baptist Church, 5701 Elko Rd., Sandston, VA 23150.
