OBITUARY
Jane Troutman Porter
February 24, 1945 – April 24, 2020
Jane Troutman Porter,75 passed away peacefully Friday April 24th at her home in Richmond, Virginia following a brief illness. Jane was born on February 24, 1945 in Greensboro, NC to the late Clifton J. Troutman, Jr. and Margaret B. Troutman. She was preceded in death by her only brother, Clifton J. Troutman, III, known as Jerry to family.
Jane had a contagious smile and never met a stranger. She was a fun-loving redhead and a true free spirit. She was a talented artist and was so proud to have her work exhibited in several galleries in Richmond thru the years. Jane loved good music, many forms of art, dogs, horses and of course her friends that she gathered thru the years in the many places where they called home. Jane will be fondly remembered and truly missed by her friends and family.
Jane is survived by her husband of 55 years, Russ, one sister Cobie T. Ellington (Larry), their son Patrick (Kendyl) and one special cousin Vicki Troutman.
Cremation Society of Virginia is serving the family during this time. No service will be held due to the current restrictions of stay in place in NC and VA.
