Barbara Lee Gordon

Gordon, Barbara L., 75, of Henrico County died Thursday, July 4, 2013. She was preceded in death by her parents, Miles C. and Louise B. Gordon. She is survived by her sister and lifelong caregiver, Judi Gordon; a brother, Tom Gordon (Andrea); closest niece and nephew, Tracie Delano (Duane) and Tim Umbarger (Joan); other nephews, Scott Umbarger and James Gordon; also great-niece and nephew, Jesse Delano and Harley Kirby. Barbara was a very happy person in spite of suffering from Cerebral Palsy. Now she’s walking for the first time, in Heaven. The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the Parham Chapel, Woody Funeral Home, 1771 N. Parham Rd. A graveside service will be conducted 2 p.m. Monday at Forest Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Lakeside Volunteer Rescue Squad.
