Audrey L. Funai, 87, of Providence Forge, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, November 12, 2024.
She has now been reunited with the love of her life, Lewis "Big Jack" Funai Sr.; son, Lewis "Little Jack" Funai Jr.; mother, Virginia Davis; brothers, Boyce Layne Jr., Calvin Childrey; sisters, Charlotte Geer, Janet Davis, Diane Davis; along with her dog, Peaches.
Audrey worked for Union Envelope as an envelope machine operator. She enjoyed reading, decorating her home, and shopping. Audrey also found peace and comfort in taking care of any and everyone who came into her life.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Bonnie Brintley (Billy), Brenda MacDonald; grandchildren, Allen Lee Jr. (Crystal), Megan MacDonald, Corey MacDonald; sister, Patricia Hooker (David); as well as a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Bristol Hospice for their compassionate care, as well as Debbie for her unwavering love and support.
Friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, November 21, at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., Richmond, Va. 23231. A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, November 22, in Washington Memorial Park, 6217 Memorial Dr., Sandston, Va. 23150 with Rev. Lee Ellison officiating.
