Stephen Daine Dugan, Sr.

Stephen “Steve” Daine Dugan, Sr. was born June 1, 1951 in Kokomo, Indiana and Died September 4, 2024 surrounded by his family. Steve was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend to many. He is survived by his wife, Willa; his three sons, Stephen Jr. (Melissa), Matthew (Kristian), and Brad (Lana); grandchildren, Stephen III, Joseph, Kraig, Nicolas, Breana, Jayden, Kayla, and Lily. Steve served in the U.S. Navy for 24 ½ years. He joined the private sector in 1994, becoming a Master Technician working in the galley aboard Navy ships, hospitals, restaurants, and more. Steve was a man who could figure out how to get any job done. He was a jack of all trades, master of one—loving his family and sharing his faith in his own quiet manner. Steve loved the Lord, his family and friends. The family invites friends for a time of visitation at Steve and Willa’s church, Fairview Baptist Church, 1204 Tatemstown Road, Chesapeake, on Tuesday, September 10, 2024 from 12:00 noon to 12:45 p.m. A funeral service to celebrate his life will begin at 1 p.m. with Dr. M. Lee Godfrey officiating. Steve will be laid to rest at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, 6309 E. Virginia Beach Blvd, Norfolk.
