Robert Charles Kelton, 78, passed away suddenly on July 17, 2024. Robert was born in Amityville, New York to the late Charles J. and Marie Froland Kelton. He proudly served his country as a United States Marine and was a longtime employee at the Borden Chemical Company where he worked as a printer. He enjoyed boating, fishing, and western movies. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him and loved him.
Left behind to cherish his memory are his loving wife of over 56 years, Judy M. Kelton; daughter, Catherine “Cathy” Markert; grandsons, Colin and Jeffrey Markert; and a host of other family and friends.
The family invites you to a time of visitation on Tuesday, July 23, 2024 from 9 a.m. -9:30 a.m. at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 6329 E. Virginia Beach Blvd, Norfolk. Following the time of visitation, there will be a graveside service in the Mausoleum of Woodlawn Memorial Gardens to begin at 10 a.m. Please visit his webpage at www.woodlawnnorfolk.com to leave a note of condolence to the family.
