Beryl M. Hare, of Norfolk, VA., passed away on July 7, 2021. She was born in Bideford, North Devon, England, to the late Charlotte Ellen Nicholls and William Wallace Nicholls. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Clyde B. Hare and her brother, Kenneth Roy Nicholls. She is survived by her daughters, Carol A. Hare of Norfolk, Susan P. Williams (Chris Kimmons) of Va. Beach; son, Roger N. Hare of Mt. Jewett, Pa; grandchildren, Ryan N. Hare of Chesapeake, Christopher L. Hare of Va. Beach; and numerous nieces and nephews. She loved her family, friends and her church. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Her love for her family, kind and caring nature and her British sense of humor will be remembered forever.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, July 15th, from 7-8pm at Woodlawn Funeral Home, Norfolk, VA. A graveside service, officiated by Pastor Mack Scott of Temple Baptist church, will be conducted at 11:00am, Friday, July 16th, in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
