Virginia Carol Stevens Hulsey

Virginia "Carol" Hulsey, 83, of Oakland City, passed away on Saturday, March 4, 2023. She was born September 21, 1939 in Napoleon, OH to the late Earl and Lillian (Ryan) Stevens. She was a cake decorator for over 50 years with Great Scot and Colonial Bakery. She was an avid bingo player, enjoyed playing euchre, was a fan of NASCAR racing and also loved birds. Carol was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil Hulsey; daughter, Lori Catt, and son, Richard Hulsey. She is survived by daughters, Kathi Baker (Barry) of Newburgh, Sherri Cravens (Mike) of Oakland City and Teresa Summerville of Three Rivers, MI; 9 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; sisters, Jo Stevens (Liz) of Daytona Beach, FL and Marilyn Todd (Randy) of Indianapolis; brothers, Jim Stevens (Sharon) of Newtonville, IN and Tom Stevens (Cathy) of Evansville, and several nieces and nephews. A Funeral Service will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, March 14, 2023 at Alexander Newburgh Chapel, 5333 State Road 261, officiated by Rev. Bob Duley, with burial in Sunset Memorial Park.
