James E. Flamion

James E. Flamion, 75, of Newburgh, IN, passed away Wednesday, January 28, 2015, at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Evansville. He was born May 30, 1939, in Perry County, IN to the late John and Alma Flamion.
He was a 4-year veteran of the U. S. National Guard. He retired after 40 years at Alcoa Warrick Operations. He was an avid street rod and vintage gas station memorabilia collector and also collected Colt fire arms. He was of the Catholic faith.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents and twin sister, Janet Elizabeth Flamion Meyer.
He is survived by his wife of 17 years, Judi (Seiler) Flamion; son, Will Flamion; grandchildren, Hayley and Nate Flamion; step-son, David Gunn, Jr.; step-daughter, Dawn Michelle Wolf; step-grandchildren, Dani and Sam Wert; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held at 2:30 PM, Saturday, January 31, 2015, at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in Tell City. Friends may visit 9 AM to 1 PM on Saturday at Alexander Newburgh Chapel.
