Russell L. Bell

Russell L. Bell, 88, died January 5, 2014 at Floyd Memorial Hospital. He was born July 11, 1925 in Marengo, Indiana to the late Harry and Iona (Harris) Bell. He is also preceded in death by his first wife Margie (Crecelius) Bell. He was an Army Veteran of WWII, a member of American Legion Post 84 Marengo, an employee of BF Goodrich for 38 years, a member of Marengo Christian Church, and a former member of Wesley Chapel in New Albany. Survivors include: Wife: Mary Lou Bell Daughter: Rita Newlin Blevins Step-Daughter: Lisa Bell Grandchildren: Rick Newlin Roni Montgomery (David) Step-Grandchildren: Matthew and Katie Pickerill and Christina Grimes Great-Grandchildren: Kelsey, Dylan, and Colin Brother: Floyd Bell Visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm Wednesday at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana. His Funeral Service will be 10:00 am Thursday at the Kraft Funeral Chapel with private burial to follow at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany, Indiana.
