Rosalie Shivel Meyer

ROSALIE SHIVEL MEYER, 91, died Wednesday, May 1, 2013. The daughter of the late Ethel (Sayles) and Arthur Shivel, Sr., Rosalie was born May 21, 1921 in New Albany. She was retired from Brown & Williamson Corporation and was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in New Albany. Along with her parents, Rosalie was preceded in death by brothers, Henry, Kenneth and Arthur Shivel, Jr.; and sisters, Gladys Sipes and Nell Clawson. Survivors include her husband of 70 years, Carl E. Meyer, Jr., and numerous nieces and nephews. There will be a private Memorial Service and burial in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park. It was her wish to be cremated. Kraft Funeral Service has been entrusted with her care. Expressions of sympathy in her memory may be made to Grace Lutheran Church.
