Rita Catherine Caufield Henson

RITA CATHERINE (CAUFIELD) HENSON, 97, died Monday, April 10, 2017. Rita was born May 28, 1919 in New Albany, Indiana to the late Michael and Mary E. (Harbeson) Caufield. Rita was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in New Albany. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Henson, Sr.; sons, Mikey Albertson and Richard Henson; granddaughter, Kelly Bridgens; step-father, Charles Henry Boutelle; and 19 siblings. Surviving are her children, Carl Henson, Jr., Dolorita “Dolly” Bricker (Tom), Bill Henson, and Rose Mary Swartz (Michael); 11 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; and 10 great great grandchildren. Visitation will be 2:00 pm ~ 8:00 pm Thursday at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 E. Spring Street, New Albany, Indiana. Her Funeral Service will be 10:00 am Friday in the Kraft Spring Street Chapel with burial following in Friendship Cemetery, New Albany, Indiana.
