Marple Alfred Lawson Jr.

MARPLE ALFRED LAWSON, JR., 73, passed away on Monday, November 28, 2016. The son of the late Arlene Wilson and Marple Alfred Lawson, Sr., he was born January 8, 1943 in La Porte, Indiana. Marple was a U.S. Air Force veteran, a truck driver, and member of Austin Christian Church. Survivors include his sons, Brett Lawson (Amanda), Robert Lawson (Patricia), Christian Lawson, and A. J. Lawson; sisters, Debbie Burton and Carolyn Burt; and five grandchildren, Bailey, Reagan, Henry, Dante, and Brice. Visitation will be 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Wednesday, November 30, 2016 and after 9:00 am on Thursday, December 1, 2016 at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana. His funeral service will be held at 12:00 noon on Thursday in the Kraft Charlestown Road Chapel with entombment and military honors to follow in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park, New Albany.
