Lillie W. Engle

Lillie Weidman Engle was born to Roy Logan and Esther Deich Weidman 8/29/24 in New Albany, Indiana. Lillie graduated from New Albany High School in 1943 and attended New Albany Business College before beginning work for H.A. Sheinsheimer as a payroll clerk. Preceeding her in death was Melvin Engle (husband of 68 years), parents Logan Weidman and Esther Weidman Losson, son Douglas Engle, and sister Myrtle Kenyon. Survivors include son Dwayne Engle (Penny), daughter Marsha O’Connor, daughter Barbara Peters (Jude Beyerle). Three granddaughters, Kristen East of Evansville, IN, Devin O’Connor of Arlington, VA, and Olivia Peters of Louisville, KY. two great grandsons Dakota and Dawson East and great granddaughter Kaylynn East, niece Beverly Deaton of Mitchell, IN and nephew Neil Kenyon of French Lick, IN. She was retired from Indiana Cities Water Corp. and was a charter member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help. Visitation will be 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm Monday at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 E. Spring Street, New Albany, Indiana. Her Funeral Mass will be 10:00 am Tuesday at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 1752 Scheller Lane, New Albany, Indiana with burial to follow at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany, Indiana.
