Juanita Y. Archibald

Juanita Yvonne (Voyles) Archibald, age 90, and former resident of New Albany, Indiana passed away on Friday, May 13, 2022. Juanita was born on March 10, 1932 in Dubois, Indiana, the daughter of the late Emmett and Wilma (Mathies) Voyles. She was a member of the Hurstbourne Christian Church and the Daughters of the American Revolution. In addition to her parents, Juanita was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Lester R. Archibald; daughter, Peggy S. Archibald and son, William L. Archibald. Juanita leaves behind her two children, Dr. Sandi Archibald-Pedley (Lawrence Jr.); Gary R. Archibald (Cathy); seven grandchildren, Tiffany, Heather, Joshua, Jacob, Justin, Matthew and April; ten great- grandchildren, Luke, Madison, Adrienne, Peyton, Ryan, Barrett, Emery, Kyle, Alex and Kyla; and two great great grandchildren, Beckham and Nicholas. A visitation will be held on Thursday, May 19, 2022 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana. The funeral will take place the following day, Friday, May 20, 2021 at 1:00 pm at the funeral home. Entombment to follow at Kraft Graceland Memorial Park.
