James "Jim" E. Mills

James “Jim” E. Mills, 75 years of age, passed away Friday, February 5, 2021 in Louisville, KY. He was born August 10, 1945 in Athens, AL to the late Robert and Georgia Mills. Jim was an Army Veteran and retired from Central Transport in 1997. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Carol, and brothers, David and Billy Mills. Survivors include his wife, Oreeda Mills, daughter, Meredith Norris (Jeff), sons, James “Michael” Mills (Cara), and Tim Mills (Hilda), sister, Martha Adams, brothers, Calvin, Jerry, and Tommy Mills, grandchildren, Ryan Trendel (Taylor), Austin Mills, Morgan Trendel, Lindsay Mills, Lauren Trendel, Payton Mills, and Abby Mills. Memorial visitation will be held on Monday, February 8th from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany.
