Edgar M. Lopp

Edgar Murphy Lopp, age 91, of New Albany, Indiana passed away on Monday, July 22, 2024. He was born on December 13, 1932, to the late Lorraine and Viola (Richert) Lopp. Edward worked as an Electrician for the company Tube Turns. Along with his parents, Edgar is preceded in death by his wife, Lois Nicheols Lopp; a daughter, Karen Lopp; siblings, Robert Lopp, Louise Lopp Day, Donald Lopp, Raymond Lopp, Gene Lopp, Florence Lopp, Earl Lopp, Ruth Lopp Webb, Stewart Lopp, and Glen Lopp. Edgar is survived by his two daughters, Rebecca Lopp Corbett, and Michelle Lopp Kiper; brother, Gordon Lopp; sister, Clara Lopp Matthews; grandchildren, Stacy Lew, Brennan Kiper, Sydney Corbett Vaughn, Benjamin Kiper, and Regan Corbett; and one great-grandchild, Jameson Vaughn. In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to Hospice, www.hospicesupportfoundation.org/donate. A visitation for Edgar will be held Tuesday, July 30, 2024, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Rd, New Albany, Indiana 47150, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM.
